Duane Boyle
Elder | Psychiatric Care Technician

Duane Boyle serves as an Elder at Real Church Communities. He grew up attending church with his family and, for a time, even pursued a calling in seminary. While he gained a strong knowledge of Scripture, Duane later realized that his faith was rooted more in understanding than in a true, personal relationship with Christ. In his late thirties, the Lord worked powerfully in his heart, leading Duane to genuine salvation—a transformation that continues to shape his life and ministry today.
Professionally, Duane serves as a Psychiatric Care Technician for the State of Wisconsin. Reflecting on his career path, Duane says, “Definitely God’s leading—not a career that I would have ever imagined.” His work allows him to extend compassion, patience, and care to those facing significant mental health challenges.
Duane enjoys spending time with his wife, Barb. Together, they love boating and fishing, and when the weather allows, riding their trike through the Wisconsin countryside. Duane dreams of someday taking an extended riding adventure across the beautiful state of Wisconsin.
He finds daily motivation in Psalm 90:12: “So teach us to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
Duane is continually reminded that life is brief—described in Scripture as a vapor—and believes strongly in responding to the Lord’s call without delay: to teach His commands and make disciples who make disciples.
