T.J. Degner

T.J. Degner serves as the Worship Team Leader at Real Church Communities. In this season of her life, she feels deeply called to gather and encourage musicians and vocalists who share a passion for praising and worshiping our Lord and Savior. Together, they lead the congregation in song, creating a space where worship is both heartfelt and Spirit-led.

T.J. has been a licensed massage therapist since 1999 and currently serves in the rehabilitation department of a local hospital. Her professional life reflects her heart for care, healing, and service to others.
Outside of ministry and work, T.J. enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, going on family vacations, and attending her children’s sporting and musical events.

T.J. married her high school sweetheart, Travis, in 1999, and together they have two young adult children, Samson and Nadia. As a family, they have experienced the grace and mercy of God and have seen Him faithfully guide them through life’s trials—testimony to the power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
