Three statements serve as the guiding principles for what we believe.
REAL LIFE
At Real Church Communities, we acknowledge that because of sin
- life can be hard, and that all of us need the presence and power of Jesus Christ in our lives to make it through.
We Believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and that all of us possess intrinsic dignity and worth.
We Believe that God doesn’t let the world exist; He makes the world exist. He upholds the universe by the word of His power, and He holds the world together in Himself.
REAL PEOPLE
At Real Church Communites, we acknowledge that we all have sinned. That we all need grace. And that not one of us will achieve perfection this side of heaven.
We Believe that all humans are under condemnation. This depravity is radical and pervasive. It extends to the mind, will, body and affections.
We Believe that the salvation of humanity is fundamentally the work of God, and that apart from the intervention of God, humanity cannot choose of his own accord to worship God and pursue righteousness.
REAL CHURCH
Real Church Communities is a church body under the lordship of Jesus Christ whose foundation is found in the Bible. Period.
We Believe and confess the Apostles’, the Nicene Creeds, and the Chalcedonian Creeds as accurate representations of Scripture’s teaching
We Believe that the ultimate mission of the Church is to bring glory to God and make disciples through worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, observance of the ordinances, fellowship, the exercise of our gifts and talents, and the proclamation of the gospel both in our community and beyond.
