Shane Haynes
Pastor | Spiritual Coordinator | Chaplain
Shane serves as the bi-vocational lead Pastor at Real Church Communities. He has been in the ministry for over 20 years in various capacities including Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Senior Pastor, and Janitor. He is also the Spiritual Care Coordinator and Chaplain for the Tomah Health Hospital system.
Shane and his wife Nina have four children: Daughter Sydney is a college Senior at Black Hills State University in Spearfish SD, Son Garrison is in the Lineman Program at Bismarck State University in Bismarck ND, Daughter Ella is a Junior at Necedah High School, and daughter Annalise is in the fifth grade.
Shane enjoys kayaking, fishing, and spending time with his family. His favorite Bible Verse is Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) “I lift my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.”
Duane Boyle
Elder | Psychiatric Care Technician
Duane serves as an Elder at Real Church Communities. He grew up attending church with his family and for a time he was pursuing a vocation in seminary. However, he only learned the knowledge part of scripture and had a false sense of being a Christian. Then the Lord worked in Duane’s life and heart which led him to be saved in his late thirties. Duane is a psychiatric care technician for the State of Wisconsin. “Definitely God’s leading, not a career that I would have ever imagined”, says Duane.
Duane enjoys spending time with his wife Barb; together they enjoy boating and fishing, and when the weather is nice they like to ride their trike. He has dreams of taking a riding adventure throughout the lovely state of Winsconsin.
He finds motivation in Psalm 90:12, “So teach us to number our days so that we may get a heart of wisdom.” Life is brief, described as a vapor, let us not put off the call from The Lord to go teach His commands and make disciples that make disciples.
Jesse Berndt
Elder | Farmer
Jesse serves as an Elder at Real Church Communities, where he feels led to disciple others to be disciples. When visiting Real Church communities he is likely to be one of the first to offer a warm greeting.
Jessie and his wife Tracy have been married over 25 years and have three grown children. Together they run a local hay and cattle operation. Jesse grew up in church attending several christian denominations. He says, “I knew about God but didn’t know him as my friend and my savior until my mid thirties. It was then that God softened my heart and has been leading me on a path of ministry.”
Jesse enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on equipment, motorcycles, and ATVs in the shop. If there is an opportunity for a cookout, I am sure beef will be on the menu.
Don Gustafson
Elder | Church Relation Coordinator | Retaired
Don serves as an Elder at Real Church Communities. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior after finally understanding the redemptive love of Jesus.
Don is now retired after working in a variety of Sales positions ranging from consulting services to specialty computers.
Don has been married to his wife Kim for 25 years and they have four adult children. Together they volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.
Don is the Church Relations Coordinator for the La Crosse area. They have also served at multiple Disaster Recovery deployments, responding to storms, hurricanes, and tornados all to display the love of Jesus Christ.
Don enjoys working on their home, land, and spending time with family.
